Highlights
Begin the trip to Aveiro, a city on the waterfront is considered the small Venice of Portugal. It is an important urban center, port, rail, university and tourist.
The second city to visit is Coimbra, a Portuguese city located in central Portugal and the country's old capital, houses a preserved medieval old town and the historic University of Coimbra.
