Departure by minibus for the Tichka pass (2260 m), then Ouarzazate to reach the Draa Valley, the largest palm grove in Morocco which stretches all the way. Passage through Agdz, Zagora, Tagounit and Mhamid. (450 km and 8h drive from Marrakech, 260 km and 4h drive from Ouarzazate). In the afternoon, first stage, 2 hours of walking to reach the first dunes and set up our bivouac near the palm grove of the old village of M'Hamid. Night under tent.

After the palm grove, crossing the plateau of Sidi Naji before joining the dunes of the same name. Installation of the bivouac in the dunes.

You leave the dunes of Sidi Naji to approach the large desert spaces. Dunes fill the landscape and you finally reach the big dunes of Erg Zaher. Water supply and meeting at the Zaher well of the Aït Khabbach nomads.

On the way to the North, you leave Erg Zaher towards Ait Ounir. Very beautiful varied days between dunes, tamarisks and acacias. Bivouac in the dunes of Ait Ounir.

After having climbed the dunes of Erg Ounir, you head south-east. This beautiful day of hiking in the dunes gradually ends at Ras Nkhal, located at the entrance to the palm grove of Mahmid. Night between palm trees, tamarisk and sand.

a short walk and you find your car in the lost village of Mhamid. Beginning of the transfer back to Marrakech. Installation at the hotel. Visit and free dinner in town.
