day 1 Starting in the beautiful municipality of Salento, meeting us for a good breakfast and thus leaving by special transport to the Cocora Valley. We let our logistics team take care of the transport of suitcases on mules, we will receive a technical talk by authorities of National Parks Colombia. Then we begin our adventure towards knowing the magic of the Cocora Valley, its forests and high-Andean vegetation until we reach the entrance of the Natural Park Los Nevados. We will take short breaks, recharging our energy to reach our first refuge called “La Playa” estate located at 3,750 meters altitude. Day 2 Shelter the beach - Acclimatization - return to the refuge 7 km of hiking until you reach 4300 meters high Day 3 Start walking : 11 pm towards the attempt to reach the summit Nevado del Tolima from shelter From shelter to the top - 11 km to 5220 meters high Total kms : 22 Day 4 Return from the refuge the beach to the valley of the cocora by the same way of the day 1 : 18 km end with lunch in Salento
