Highlights

This popular tour blends sightseeing, storytelling, and riding. You and your guide will pedal along the Piscataqua River and the Atlantic Ocean for about 8-12 miles, exploring the coastline, islands, harbor, and historic sites in both Portsmouth and New Castle Island. Your guide will lead you through Pierce and Four Tree Islands and along the historic South End, riding by working docks, boats, yachts, and quiet waterfronts.


You will ride over bridges and causeways, stopping at sites so your guide can share intriguing tales of the harbor, the islands, and the maritime history that has shaped this region. This tour offers an overview of the area, allowing you to delve deeper into its hidden gems that many visitors overlook. Ride by the scenic River to New Castle Island, one of the most picturesque coastal rides.
