Highlights
Leave the busy mainland behind and visit Avalon, where you can enjoy the Mediterranean climate all year round.
Stay at the hotels, visit the beaches, eat at the restaurants, join the tours, and relax at the spas. Avalon is clean and safe, offering a typical beach town vibe with plenty of places to eat, drink, shop, and see. For the more adventurous, the island offers exciting hiking opportunities.
It's about an hour's boat ride from Long Beach and the Los Angeles coastline.
