    1. Pulteney Bridge This is an architectural monument that you cannot miss. Built around 250 years ago, Paltney Bridge is in the heart of Bath. Similar to the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, along the Ponte Paltni are a bunch of buildings that house shops. It is considered unique, so the best recommendation for city guests is to take a walk from the bridge and along the river embankment. 2. Bath Abbey (Bath Abbey) Bath Abbey is an Anglican parish church and former Benedictine monastery in Bath, Somerset, England. Founded in the 7th century, it was reorganized in the 10th century and rebuilt in the 12th and 16th centuries. 3. The Circus, originally called King's Circus, was designed by the architect John Wood, the Elder. Construction began in 1754, however Wood died less than three months after the first stone was laid and so his son, John Wood, the Younger, completed the design in 1768. The Circus consists of three curved segments of Grade I listed townhouses, forming a circle with three entrances. When viewed from the air, the Circus, along with Queen Square and adjoining Gay Street, form a key shape, which is a masonic symbol similar to those that adorn many of Wood's buildings. Self-guided!

We took this tour on 2 May 2026. The original iteneraly was 9am departure, 2.5-3hrs drive to stone henge 12-2pm Stonehenge, 1 hr drive to bath 3-6pm bath Approximately 8pm back in Birmingham. It would have been perfect if it was like that. However, the reality was 9am departure 1:18pm arrival to Stonehenge (!!!!) 2:45pm departure from Stonehenge 4-630pm bath Approximately 9pm+ arrival to Birmingham I believe the bus driver really didn't know the way, as he took completely wrong way that took forever. He claimed apparently there were a lot of the roadworks but his way was very strange, including u-turn where no roadworks. You know nowadays we have Google map that tells us everything. The deleyed arrival to Stonehenge made our visit short everywhere (especially Stonehenge required more time for a proper visit, it's 30min walk to the stone from the entrance), although the guide gave me little bit extra time. Overall, I liked the tour but the company needs a driver who knows the road better, especially when we are going to the known place like Stonehenge.
