The Mola Mola Day allows you to enjoy all the best experiences in one, epic day! The Atlantic Ocean, the beach at Pelican Point sand Peninsula, amazing lunch occasion and the ancient, magnificent dunes of Sandwich harbour.
Starting your day on our exhilarating boat cruise, you get to meet the popular pelicans and sassy seagulls joining us on board. A friendly seal or two might pop by on the boat, and if you are really lucky, you will get to experience the wonder of dolphins swimming along in the blue ocean waters.
Reaching the uninhabited Pelican Point peninsula, you will disembark direct onto the beach, where a beautiful Beach Braai (barbeque) set-up awaits for lunch. From the beach to ancient, ageless sand dunes! Our experienced guides and specialized 4x4’s will now take you on an expedition experience for the afternoon!
Itinerary
Walvis Bay Waterfront
4 hoursAdmission Ticket Free1. You will be able to explore the Waterfront's shops and restaurants after check-in (15min: time not included in overall duration of tour) 2. At 9h00, you will be led to the boat by one of our staff or your guide for the tour. From there, you will be taken on a tour through the harbour with multiple stops along the way where our crew will share information about specific areas. We have seals and pelicans joining guest onboard and seals will come close for an inquisitive look (2.5 hours) 3. At Pelican Point Peninsula, you will disembark onto the beach where a beautiful Beach Braai (BBQ) set-up awaits for lunch. Savoring all the delicious flavors of fresh Walvis Bay crayfish, beef fillet, colorful salads and freshly baked breads allows you to be immersed in true Namibian culture (1.5 hours).Sandwich Harbour
5 hoursAdmission Ticket Not Included1. After enjoying lunch, you will be taken to Sandwich Harbour by 4x4 to experience the magnificent views from dune tops, and the exhilarating rides through the sandy hills. A small snack will be available with drinks. From there, you will be transferred back to our offices to conclude your tour (5 hours)
