Our experience is personal, with lots of local knowledge about Carlisle and the surrounding Lake District, and families can get up close and personal to our range of birds. It is all set in the outdoors, so great way to get the kids out of the house.
A Family activity is for 2 adults and 3 children. If you wish to bring other adults on this booking you can pay for additional participants when you arrive.
Itinerary
Cumberland Bird of Prey Centre
Our Family experience is a one hour activity, introducing you to all the birds of on our site which includes owls, eagles, falcons, vultures and kestrels. We will learn all about their habitats and their behaviour and show the family how to fly the birds, there will even be time for a few pictures as our birds love the cameras. All set in Cumbrian countryside by our expert Cumbrians who have farmed in this land for over a century. Our Trip Advisor sessions start at 9am, but if you wish to move this to another time you can do. Please call us on 07900 531032 to do that.
