This 4 hours slow walking tour is destined to show you the rich history and architecture of Fes Medina or Fes El Bali. The latter is the oldest walled part of Fez, founded by the Idrisid dynasty between 789 and 808 AD. However, our local guide will take you through the labyrinthine Medina’s alleyways to discover the major landmarks and attractions located therein and learn about their history. Amongst them, there are: Bab Boujloud Bou Inania Madrasa Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque (and university) Chouara Tannery Seffarine Square Besides being the largest car-free urban area in the world, Fes El Bali is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
