Out of the world experience . Love it
Amazing experience. Long day, but absolutely worth it. RealNZ uses a big coach and it was full but it always felt luxurious and comfortable. Tour guide provided interesting commentary and adequate time at photo stops for pictures. The cruise itself was also of the right duration to be both interesting and yet not boring.
Our Milford Sound Cruise with RealNZ was an unforgettable experience — truly the highlight of our South Island trip! The entire journey from Queenstown to Milford Sound was smooth and well-organized, with plenty of scenic stops and photo opportunities along the way. The driver-guide was friendly, informative, and made the long drive feel enjoyable. The cruise itself was breathtaking — surrounded by towering cliffs, waterfalls, and even playful seals along the fjord! The boat was comfortable, clean, and offered great viewing spots both indoors and outdoors. Everything ran on time, the staff were professional and welcoming, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend RealNZ for anyone visiting Milford Sound — it’s absolutely worth it!
Danny with teddy bear was an amazing guide. He made the long drive super fun, really enjoyed learning about the history and random fun facts of NZ. The trip was great, pickup/dropoff was very convenient with clear instructions for location and time. The itinerary was well timed with good breaks and stops on the way there, with 30mins stop at Te Anau to pickup snacks and food from the town centre. Cruise (sovereign) was about 1.5 hrs, the speaker for the guide was only heard on the top floor. View was amazing, bathrooms were clean. Food was also available on deck for purchase, but quite pricey. Top deck was quite windy so pack warm clothes for it, but there was also plenty of indoor space with a great view in other decks.
The transport organisation was just great by high standard coach talking us to Milford Sound and back to near our Hotel. Very good commentary on the coach and while cruising for the 2 hours. We recorded great memories throughout the journey.
The customer service was excellent The staff were very courteous Overall the experience was wonderful and long lasting
