Consists of a walk with a bilingual naturalist guide inside the Curicancha Reserve, lasting approximately 4 hours. The preferred starting time is 7:00 a.m. The distance of the hike varies from 2 km to 3 km depending on forest activity, and the trails are well designed for anyone capable of walking. The goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the Monteverde forest and observe the natural treasures found within it. The guide carries a high-definition spotting scope to provide a better view of the wildlife. Monteverde is known as a natural paradise and a prime destination for birdwatching, especially for species such as the Resplendent Quetzal, toucans, the Three-wattled Bellbird, among others.
