Your day begins with pickup from Arusha, Moshi or nearby areas before driving to Materuni Village on the lush foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a guided walk through banana farms, coffee plantations, and tropical rainforest leading to the spectacular 80-meter Materuni Waterfall. Along the trail, your guide will share insights into Chagga culture, village life, local farming traditions, and the surrounding nature. On clear days, there is also a chance to enjoy beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After the hike, return to the village for an interactive Chagga coffee experience where you will learn how coffee is grown, roasted, ground, and prepared using traditional methods.
