Ticket collection methods: (1) If the ticket collection voucher code is a regular "7-digit" code, please log in to the online ticket collection link via your mobile phone: https://xzx.chimelong.com/scenicReserve. Enter the ticket collection voucher code and the last 4 digits of your mobile phone number according to the instructions on the page to generate a QR code for entry; (2) If the ticket collection voucher code is "1111111", please go to the park's ticket window with your ticket purchase document to exchange for a paper ticket for entry; (3) If the ticket collection voucher code is "0000000", please go directly to the park entrance with your ticket purchase document and swipe your document to enter. All tickets are valid for one entry only.
Children's tickets are valid for children aged 3 to under 12 years old, or children who are 1.0 to 1.5 meters tall, on the day of their visit. Each child must be accompanied by at least one adult.
Senior citizen tickets are applicable to senior citizens aged 65 and above on the day of their visit.
Youth tickets are applicable to minors who are 12 years old but under 18 years old and taller than 1.5 meters on the day of their visit; children who are admitted free of charge cannot be brought into the park.

easy to exchange tickets online and able to straight scan at the entrance. in addition the free data esim was helpful to give the kids an extra boost with their screentime
It was a good experience
Highly recommended and worth the time spent. Conveniently located near Hanxi Changlong metro station with free shuttle bus to the park entrance. Animals looked healthy and the park was generally well-kept. Cable car ride is included in the ticket price. The tram ride through the safari section is a must. Other highlights include the koalas, pandas and giraffes. Toilets are easy to find but they are the squatting kind. Allocate about 4 to 5 hours if you want to see all the enclosures and take meal breaks.
Lots to see! Interesting train ride is available to get up close to the animals. Unfortunately, we went on a day with many schools having their outings there. We gave up queueing for the cable car. The one way route through the exhibits was a bit too much walking for our young children and elderly parent to get to the exit, but there are many eating places along the way for us to take a rest. I think we got good value of tickets from Pelago for overseas visitors. It was straight forward to scan the QR code issued by Pelago at the safari entrance, north gate.
The Chimelong Safari Park is certainly a must-go for families with kids. Our 2 young kids absolutely loved the trip, despite us spending just sufficiently without overstaying ourselves. Kids’ favourites were the white tigers (performance) and pandas; as well as the cable car ride. You can expect a large crowd, so be prepared to wait at times, and bring sufficient sustenance to ride yourselves through.
