Take Devil’s Staircase trekking and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Southern plains with wonderful other attractions including Bambarakanda waterfalls which is the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. This route is famous for being a hiker friendly route with its craggy twists and turns earning its rather frightening name. You will enjoy a natural river bath and lunch with a chilled beer.

5 hoursAdmission Ticket Included06:30 You will be picked up from your hotel and driven Bandarawela or Ella railway stations to catch the train to to Ohiya. This one and half hours train journey is one of the best scenic journeys in the railway network of Sri Lanka. 08:30 Arrive at the trekking starting point. Your guide will give you a brief introduction about the trekking prior to the start. 08:45 Hike through the rugged terrain passing some wonderful valleys, waterfalls and tea fields. The cool climate makes it an attractive destination for nature trekkers. 13:00 Visit Bambarakanda waterfalls and enjoy your lunch with chilled beer. 14:30 Enjoy a river bath and refresh before leaving the place. 16:30 You will be dropped off at your hotel.
