- Take Line 1 and disembark at San Marco Vallaresso. Walk to the end of Calle Vallaresso, turn right, and continue straight until you reach a colonnade.
- The entrance to the Museo Correr is located beneath the colonnade.

- With Piazza San Marco and the arches of the Museo Correr behind you, and the Poste Italiane (Post Office) in front of you, look to your left.

If you have the time the extra commentary before and after the gondola ride is interesting. We enjoyed our experience.
Absolutely loved it
The commentary started well , However, after we boarded the gondola, the guide went off to the main canal to resume commentary when we are out there. When we were at the main canal, the range of the live commentary was limited and we could not hear much. Along the way for the gondola ride, the gondola guy did not talk at all and it was quite boring and we don’t know the history or story of the architecture along the way. Overall, we don’t feel engaged and inadequate commentary. Not worth the price we paid for.
It was a wonderful experience. Thankfully the weather was also great. A very heavy rush due to crowd but it was managed well. The guide was informative and helpful.
