Itinerary
Day 1: Bucharest - Bucegi Mountains - Poiana Marului

Admission Ticket FreeWe will pick you up from the airport or your location in Bucharest and drive about 3 hours, north towards Predeal. Start drive off the beaten paths to Diham Cottage passing through amazing landscapes of the Bucegi Mountains. Discover spectacular peaks of “Coltii Morarului”, known as Teeth of Dracula`s and drink a cup of coffee in nature surrounded by impressive mountains views. Afterwards, we drive down towards Rasnov and the 4x4 tour continues to get to Poiana Marului village. After lunch, we will explore off road Poiana Marului area, enjoying breathtaking views over the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului Mountains. Away from the noises of the world, feel the tranquility and calmness around you. The village sceneries are charming and you`ll be fascinated by his fairy tale place. In the evening, arrive at our cozy accommodation, at an altitude of 1100m. Day 2: Poiana Marului – Traditional Villages – Fundatica – Poiana Marului

Admission Ticket FreeIn the morning, we leave Poiana Marului, driving about 15 minutes to Zarnesti. Optional, you`ll have a short walking through the Canyon of Zarnesti while breathing the fresh mountain air in the scenery of “Cold Mountain” movie. Then, enjoy a relaxing 4x4 tour driving through the rolling hills of Magura and Pestera traditional villages. Let your eyes rest in the fascinating scenery of the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi Mountains. Here, you will discover the authentic rural life in Romania, a land with rolling hills, remote villages `s roads and traditional wooden houses.Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle)

Further on, you`ll have the option to visit Bran (Dracula`s) Castle or Simon Hermitage.The 4x4 tour continues through magical landscapes of the Bran Pass and reach the highest traditional village from Romania, Fundatica at an altitude of 1360 m. From the top of the hill, the 4x4 tour continues through Key Valley Canyon where you`ll have the opportunity to enjoy zip line crossing a spectacular landscape. After we drink a cup of coffee close by the river and enjoy the sounds of nature around you, we are ready to drive back to our accommodation in Poiana Marului.- AccommodationsOvernight at pension in the mountains
Day 3: Poiana Marului - Tabla Butii Ridge – Bucharest

Admission Ticket FreeToday, we start driving towards Vama Buzaului and arrive at Urlatoarele waterfall. Here, we will stop and take a break, walking on the hill to the water curtain. Vama Buzaului has been established after the Austro-Hungarian Empire was created and Transylvania has been assimilated by the empire. The customs was moved from the Tartar Ridge to the place where now is the base of the village.Bucharest
Admission Ticket FreeFrom there, you will be taken to the stunning landscape of Tabla Butii (“The Plateau of Barrels”) route for an amazing off road experience. You will discover the road used centuries ago to cross from Transylvania to Wallachia, one of the mountain passes used by migrating Tatars and Cumans hordes into Transylvania and Europe. You can also admire the Tartar ridge we just came from to cross into Wallachia. The 4x4 tour continues with a visit of an authentic sheepfold and you`ll have picnic lunch while tasting organic cheese. Continue driving and pass through the ruins of the Hungarian border fortress Cruceberg, built in the medieval times by Teutonic Knights. Descending the mountains, we arrive in Slon village and drive back to Bucharest. Transfer to the airport or your hotel.
