Wonderful trek up Mount Batur. Our guide Kadek ( not sure if spelling is right) was very patient with me as I am not very fit and took a while to trek up. The inclines can be steep and made more difficult by the soft lava earth which at some points I felt like I was walking on beach. Overall it was a wonderful experience and the views are amazing!
Our Mount Batur sunset trek was unforgettable, thanks to driver Rafa attentiveness (punctual, smooth rides, thoughtful check-ins) and our trekking guide’s expertise (patient, knowledgeable, prioritized safety). The scrambler (dirt bike) add-on was a lifesaver for my family—worth the extra cost to tackle steep sections and reach the summit effortlessly. Watching the sunset paint the sky from the peak was pure magic. Rafa and our guide made the experience seamless and memorable. Highly recommend!
The highlight of my Bali vacation! I want to particularly praise our guide Luna who was great - friendly and very helpful throughout. The sunset from the top of the mountain is beautiful. I had one minor hiccup with booking but this was sorted by Pelago Customer Service so all good.
Had a hiccup as operator thought I made booking for sunrise (which is the popular tour). Got it sorted out. Driver, Nesa was good. A friendly guy, speaks English, and communicated with me on the timing before the trip started. All went well. Trek was fairly easy and totally worth it. I would recommend it to my friends.
Awesome!! 200% better than the jeep tour~! could enjoy mt. Batur, also see mt. Agung, mt. Abang at the same time! and the guide(Yoman) was really nice!! recommend it!
Guide was so kind and helpful! The hike is really of moderate difficulty, so please train a little bit for it. Else there is a motorbike ride up to that you can pay extra for. Anyway, this package is perfect for those who cannot wake up early, but want to see the views of kintamani! It was initially cloudy but with a little prayer, the clouds cleared for a brief moment and omg it was such an amazing view! totally worth it and you should do it!! Small group as well if you prefer that, had a group of 4 pax
