Highlights

This event will allow you to experience sumo up-close. Event is interactive. You will learn about sumo, and have a chance to get into the ring, ask a question, and take photos. We have small groups, so everybody can participate.

Itinerary

  • 1-chōme-1-2 Kamezawa

    Learn about the rules, techniques and history of sumo, practice sumo exercises, get in the ring to challenge a former sumo wrestler! There will be lots of photo opportunities! Finish with a question and answer session, when you can ask your sumo-related question. Event is conducted in English. DOES NOT INCLUDE A TICKET TO THE SUMO TOURNAMENT. Minimum age for children is 5 years old. Children must be registered and paid for the event.
