This tour is super beautiful now (March and April). Beautiful spring greens, flowers and blossoming trees. You don't have to walk a lot during the tour, if you don't want to., We can cover it by car, except some areas in Szentendre, but those areas are reachable by 5minutes, level walking. We visit two towns along the Danube river: Szentendre and Visegrád. First we stop in the artistic village of Szentendre. This is the most beautiful little town near Budapest, in a natural environment. Cobblestone squares, colorful old houses, narrow streets, graceful churches, nice cafes and quality souvenir/art shops with a huge choice of Hungarian contemporary and folklore art. Szentendre is home and inspiration for the best Hungarian artists. As the walk through the charming and quiet streets of the downtown, you can visit interesting museums or galleries presenting local art. Visegrád once was the capital of Hungary. From the hill you will enjoy the fascinating panorama of the Danube bend. Here we have an option of visiting the ruins of the castle (tickets: about 7 euros per person). During the tour we can also have lunch at a good restaurant with a view.
