You don't have to walk a lot during the tour, if you don't want to. We can cover it by car, except some areas in Szentendre, but those areas are reachable by a 5-minute, level walking. We visit two towns along the Danube river: Szentendre and Visegrád. First we stop in the artistic village of Szentendre. This is the most beautiful little town near Budapest, in a natural environment. Colorful old houses, Mediterranean streets, graceful churches, nice cafes and quality souvenir/art shops with a huge choice of Hungarian contemporary and folklore art. Szentendre is home and inspiration for the best Hungarian artists. As the walk through the quiet oldtown streets, you can visit interesting museums or galleries presenting local art. Visegrád once was the capital of Hungary. From the hill you will enjoy the fascinating panorama of the Danube bend. Here we have an option of visiting the ruins of the castle (tickets: about 7 euros per person). During the tour we can also have lunch at a good restaurant with a view.
