Itinerary
Arusha Town – Tarangire National Park

9 hoursAdmission Ticket Free10:00 Hours: Arrive at the park and proceed on a game drive. Wildlife to be seen include Elephants, famous tree-climbing pythons, leopards, Zebra, Giraffe, DikDik and Ostrich and different species of birds can be seen. 13:00 Hours: We arrive at your accommodations in time of lunch. After lunch relax before the afternoon game drive. 15:30 Hours: Depart for the afternoon game drive. With a permanent water source, the park is virtually guaranteed enormous herds and excellent game viewing including cheetah, lion (some tree-climbing!), leopard and hyena and a herd of 3,500 elephants. The park is also host to a number of rare species including eland, Oryx, kudu and gerenuk. Tarangire is popular as a birding destination. 7 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeFull Day Tarangire National Park Morning and afternoon game drives in the Park that offers wonderful panoramas of wide savannah grasslands dotted with open acacia woodland studded with large Baobab trees. Elephants can be seen in herds of up to 600 at a time, along with masses of wildebeest, zebra, eland, hartebeest, buffalo and Oryx, who, migrate from the dry Masai steppe to the gleaming Tarangire River in search of water during the dry season. 550 species of birds have been recorded here.
