Highlights

This private day trip from Bucharest start with stop at Mogosoaia to see the Palace and the Royal Court of the most famous romanian ruler from the end of the 17th century, located in a forest on the edge of a lake.

    Mogosoaia Palace easily passes as one of the most beautiful monuments around Bucharest. With a history that goes back more than 300 years, part of the lives of some of the greatest families in the history of Southern Romania, the palace and its vast gardens are an excellent weekend destination.

  • Snagov Monastery

    Tiny Snagov Island, at the northern end of Snagov Lake, is home to Snagov Monastery and Vlad Ţepeş' alleged final resting place. The small stone church dates from the 15th century; Vlad Ţepeş’ purported grave is located towards the back of the church. The island is connected to the mainland by bridge.

    Casa Timis in Chitorani. This charming house has been beautifully restored and is now a fine restaurant surrounded by vineyards, between the hills. Step back in time as you explore the historic rooms, which are filled with gorgeous antiques and artifacts. You'll also get to stroll through the lovely gardens, which are home to a variety of rare and exotic plants.
