The small booking fee you have paid to Viator is an administrative fee to guarantee your spot on the tour. You are encouraged to tip your guide what you feel the tour was worth at the end. I enjoyed the tour. Visiting the synagogues, and understanding the insights of the construction and purpose was indeed interesting. In fact, our guide was good such that the information he provided really gave an insight into the Jewish population in Budapest in the past and current as well. A definite eye opener.
The guide Edith did a wonderful job of bringing the history to life. Full of interesting stories and life lesson nuggets. A must tour when in Budapest.
