It takes more than 30 mins by walking from the Parking Area to Jigokudani Yaen-koen. Witness adorable snow monkeys bathing in thermal water. Enjoy the serene beauty of the park's natural surroundings.Kamakura no Sato (January 20 to February 26)
Immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of snow huts adorned with lights. Experience traditional winter festivities, including food, drinks, and cultural activities. Enjoy the magical ambiance created by the illuminated snow huts during this annual festival.End of Tour (8:00PM)
Arrive at Shinjuku. Between January 20 and February 26, as the group will visit Kamakura no Sato, the tour will return to Shinjuku at around 9:00PM.

Tour End Time: 8PM. From January 20 to February 29, as the group will visit Kamakura no Sato, the tour will arrive at Shinjuku around 9PM.

- Toddlers (age 3 and below) can join this tour free of charge.
- Toddler tickets must be purchased with a minimum of (1) Adult ticket.

- It takes more than 30 minutes to walk from the Parking Area to Jigokudani Yaen-Koen
- The monkeys of Jigoku Valley are wild animals and might not be present when we visit the Jikoku Valley.
- Do not engage with the monkeys and do not stare them in the eye as they might become violent.
- The monkeys do not spend the majority of their time in the water.
- The lunch described above might have a different menu according to provisions.
- The Kamakura no Sato Festival/Kamakura no Sato is only from January 24th to February 28th.
- If the minimum number of participants (15) is not met, by 4 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date might be cancelled.
- Depending on the number of participants, the coach size may vary (medium or small size).

Loved this experience watching the antics of the monkeys, in the water and on the slopes. The walk into the hot springs was beautiful too…. With the trees covered in snow. Bring your Micro spikes if you have some, makes walking easier. You can buy/hire them too. There’s plenty of time to get some great photos
It was an unusual experience to see the monkeys in their natural environment.
This 1-day experience to Nagano was enjoyable. However, we felt a bit rushed as many of the pit stops along the way was 15-20 minutes, and even lunch (sukiyaki mind you) was only 40 minutes. While the monkeys were cute to watch, we only got to see them for slightly under an hour. The 4 hour bus ride to Nagano, 40 minutes of actual monkey-watching and 4 hour bus ride back felt quite tiring even though the programme was not heavy. I would recommend this if you are looking for a fuss-free way to see the monkeys from Tokyo, but if you are more adventurous, take the Shinkansen there yourself. Worth the money, but I would want to spend a full night there the next time. Safety was good as there were 2 drivers rotating every pitstop.
