Taking off from the hangar in a custom-built sky-dive aircraft, enjoy a scenic flight over the long golden beaches and rainforest hinterland of Byron Bay. Then, get ready for the excitement of Australia’s highest tandem jump over Byron Bay with your highly trained flight professional. Leaping from a height of 15,000 feet (4,572 meters), feel the excitement as you take the plunge, free-falling for 60 seconds at approximately 125 mph (200 kph). When your parachute opens, enjoy a five-minute descent over the coast. See the Byron Bay surf and lighthouse beneath you as you slowly descend to earth. No other tandem sky dive takes you directly over Byron Bay -- see Byron Bay's famous surf and lighthouse beneath you as you slowly descend to the earth. Bring your family and friends along to watch you tick off this bucketlist experience, our Byron Bay Dropzone offers great views and spectators can see your land - great for those once in a lifetime photos. No previous experience is required to enjoy the adrenaline-charged magic of a tandem sky dive over Byron Bay, the experience of a lifetime!

Maximum weight 242lb (110kg)
Surcharge applies to persons 207lbs (94kgs) or more. Weight over 110kg is subject to DZSO/Tandem Master assessment and different weight cut-off limits may apply at each location. All persons 94kg and over will incur a surcharge of $55.00 AUD (inclusive of GST). Those 105kg and over, a surcharge of $80.00 AUD (inclusive of GST) applies. Those 115kg and over, a surcharge of $105.00 AUD (inclusive of GST) applies.
Minimum age 16 years, subject to approval
Under 18 years must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
Risk Warning: Your participation in parachuting activities is inherently dangerous and may involve risks. These risks include, but are not limited to those arising from prevailing conditions such as weather or health conditions you may have. Despite careful packing, the parachute may open abruptly or not open correctly which may result in injury. Unintended incidents may occur during the aircraft flight, descent or on landing.
Parachuting is done at the parachutists' own risk. Any person parachuting, training to parachute, flying in any aircraft being used for parachuting or participating in any activity carried out by Skydive Australia may only do so on the distinct understanding that they do so entirely at their own risk.
