Highlights
All of our tour guides are Bay Area Natives, which will help you understand what it’s like to grow up in SF and now live here as grown ups with our own families. You will enjoy an introduction to San Francisco on this 5 to 6 hour tour that includes Neighborhoods like Chinatown, North Beach, Pacific Heights and a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Woods National Monument. You'll be driven around the city to see its diverse neighborhoods and geography, stopping several times for photo ops. At Muir Woods, admire the towering redwood trees, and visit the waterfront town of Sausalito for lunch (own expense). Works great for people coming from cruise ships. You cannot book the Alcatraz option under 4 days in advance.

Amazing experience, highly recommended
I can’t recommend this amazing trip highly enough! Best use of your time especially if you only have 1 day at SFO. Provide water and snack too. It all kicks off at the conveniently located pickup spot at Beach and Hyde streets, just a hop away from the iconic Ghirardelli Square. The biggest disappointment is we had to skip Muir Woods because of government closure, the sights we did see around San Francisco were simply breathtaking! Minus Muir Wood is this reason for 4 stars Lunch in Sausalito is a delightful treat. Short trip around SFO Chinatown, billionaire street, etc Don’t forget to bring a jacket for Alcatraz; it can get a bit chilly with the wind. You’ll want about 90 minutes for the audio guide, but take your time, there’s a ferry back every 30 minutes. There’s so much to explore, so be sure to join the free guided tour for a deeper dive into Alcatraz's rich history. Enjoy every moment!
