The tour begins with the departure from our offices in the center of Salta, at 06:15 am. Thanks to the technical conditions of our vehicles, the "Safari to the Clouds" offers the only possibility of combining three unforgettable tours of the Argentine Northwest in an unforgettable day: First, the "Road to the Clouds", following the tracks of the famous Train to the Clouds, admiring this magnificent work of engineering that begun in the 1920's by Quebrada del Toro to San Antonio de los Cobres. Secondly, we will go to “Viaducto de La Polvorilla”. And in the way back we will visit the small town of Santa Rosa de Tastil to have lunch and rest a little bit. Later we will go to the Archaeological museum and a walk at the ruins of Atacama.

We will take a break to have lunch in San Antonio de los Cobres and after lunch, we will go to the famous Viaducto de la Polvorilla.

Then, we'll head to La Puna cross by Route No 40 reaching the Salinas Grandes on the border with Jujuy.

We will descend by Cuesta de Lipán, a descent of 2,000 mts in 22 km, during which we can see condors and appreciate the transition from the desert of the puna to the fertility of the valleys, until reaching the picturesque village of Purmamarca. After this stop, we will return to Salta while we enjoy a small snack in the bus. We will be arriving at 18:00 pm to our meeting point in Salta City.

This rafting adventure will take you through more than 12 class II and III rapids, ending around noon at the base of the canyon, where we will enjoy a delicious Argentinean Asado. We will leave from downtown Salta (Caseros 177), to go to the Juramento River Canyon (2 hours by car from Salta's capital). There, we will meet our guide, who will give us a brief instructive talk about rafting and safety. The equipment is handed over and we start descending the rapids of the Juramento River. There are 12 different class II and III rapids, framed by the imposing landscape of the Juramento River Canyon.

Lunch: Ahead in Los Lapachos; there our vehicles will be waiting for us to take us back to the base, where we will be welcomed with a delicious lunch: a typical asado with several cuts of meat, sausages and salads, as well as water and juices.
