Highlights
Join a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House to learn about its history, unique architecture, and significant events. Under the famous sails, access hidden areas, listen to stories of its early days, and hear about key performances. Each step gives you new views of this cultural landmark.
The 30-minute tour is available in Japanese and Korean. Some areas might not be accessible due to ongoing performances. The tour route may change based on availability.
Up to 300 stairs are involved, and there is no lift access, so the tour may not suit visitors who need step-free entry.

Show the smartphone ticket at the Sydney Opera House Welcome Centre, on the Lower Concourse (see map).

This tour has 300+ stairs (low impact), flat comfortable shoes are recommended.
Accessibility or mobility needs must be advised and pre-booked in advance. Guests who have not advised their accessibility needs before the tour will not be able to join the Walking Tour.
Guests unable to participate on the day are welcome to: Wait comfortably in our air-conditioned lounge with direct lift access, or enjoy the surrounding precinct, including cafés such as Opera Bar or House Canteen, or browse the souvenir shops.
The tour operator has a dedicated Mobility Access Tour which is specifically designed to support the accessibility needs of our guests. For bookings please contact the supplier directly.
