The Peninsula of Monte Brasil is located in Angra do Heroísmo, on the south coast of the island Terceira in the Azores. It is composed of a boiler surrounded by four peaks: the Pico das Cruzes, the Pico do Facho, the Pico da Quebrada (where the whale guard is located) and the Pico do Zimbreiro. The high points provide panoramic views over the city of Angra do Heroísmo and its peak, on sunny days you can see the island of São Jorge and the island of Pico.
