Get to explore all of the must see sites of Furnas, away from the daytime crowds. First stop at the Gorreana Tea Plantation and factory, to kick off your evening by learning and tasting our unique tea. The factory itself is a charming place full of vintage pieces of history, and with its windows overlooking the plantation slopes. Pit stop on the way through Furnas valley, to enjoy the panoramic view of Pico do Ferro viewpoint. Cross along the scenic margins of Furnas lake and stop to walk along the steaming cooking pods. Here you can see where and how your dinner is cooked below ground. Proceed to the village to explore the many geysers and thermal springs, and enjoy the smoke spectacle over the darkening skies. Before dinner you can enjoy bathing at the local Poça da D. Beija hot springs, but please note tickets are not included, you must purchase them online in advance (Please choose the 18:00-19:30 time slot; we recommend booking the tickets in advance, at least 3 days before specially in high season as they sell out fast). Finish the evening with a full meal that will include the island staple dish, the “cozido”, starter, dessert, expresso and drinks.
