  • Start of Tour (8:00 AM)

    Meeting Point
    Meet your guide at Lawson Fukuoka Oriental Hotel (in front of Hakata Station Chikushiguchi). Please arrive 15 minutes early.

  • Kumamoto Castle & Sakura-no-baba Josaien (Time Permitting)

    Explore one of Japan’s “Three Great Castles” from the castle grounds, then sample local flavors and crafts at the adjacent heritage village.

  • Mount Aso – Nakadake Crater

    15–20 mins free time
    If open, view the active crater and caldera landscape. Access is subject to volcanic activity and safety advisories.

  • Kusasenri Grassland (Lunch Break)

    ~60 mins
    Enjoy sweeping grasslands at the foot of Mount Eboshi. Optional horseback riding or visit to the Aso Volcano Museum (own expense). Lunch not included.

  • Aso Roadside Station (Photo/Rest Stop; Time Permitting)

    Browse local produce and souvenirs; keep an eye out for fun photo spots.

  • End of Tour (~6:00 PM)

    Return to Fukuoka. Arrival time may vary due to traffic and weather.

  • The guide will hold a yellow ‘Gogoday’ flag for easy identification.

  • Deer Safety: If feeding deer (e.g., at stops with deer), be mindful—they can be eager.
