The walled city is best explored as a walking tour and where one needs to visit to claim that they have been to Lahore. The cacophony of sights and sounds and the vibrancy of the population makes it a very interesting tour. Highly recommend the one with a hotel pick-up as Lahore's public transport is difficult to manage. The ride hailing apps don't work for foreigners. Shahid Yousaf, my guide, came to the hotel to pick me up. He was knowledgeable and knows the place and its people like the back of his hands, pointing out the major attractions and their significance. Certainly, an afternoon well-spent in Lahore.
