Highlights
Our tour starts from Hurghada to Cairo, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and Pyramid of Zoser, then to Aswan, visit the High Dam is the highlight there, along with a stop at the Philae Temple. The next day sees you onboard the Nile cruise ship, where you'll spend 4 days, 3 nights experiencing Egypt in its natural wonder. Sail up the river, enjoying the relaxing view as you go. Visit Kom Ombo, you'll find a spectacular temple, a unique 'double temple' place dedicated to the crocodile-headed god Sobek and Horus the falcon-headed god. After this, a stop at Edfu Temple. Then it’s onto Luxor and a tour of the east bank taking in the vast Karnak temple complex and the historic Luxor temple. The following day sees a visit to the west bank and the world-famous Valley of the Kings, plus a stop at the temple of Hatshepsu, then back travel to Hurghada with wonderful memories you will never forget.

It sits on Aglika Island just south of the old Aswan Dam and you must ride a boat to the island to get to theruins. The careful reconstruction at the current site carefully completed, painstakingly preserving the original appearance and layout of the complex and even landscaping the island to match its former location. Philae rose to prominence during the Ptolemaic Dynasty as the center of the cult of the goddess Isis. The West Bank had been the site of royal burials from the First Intermediate Period (2181–2055 BC) onwards. At least three 11th-dynasty rulers built their tombs near the modern village of Taref, northeast of the Valley of the Kings. It lies directly across the Nile from Karnak Temple, the main sanctuary of the god Amun. Hatshepsut’s temple “the Holy of Holies” was designed by the chief steward of Amun, Senenmut. The temple consists of three levels each of which has a colonnade at its far end. On the uppermost level, an open courtyard lies just beyond the portico. Mummiform statues of Hatshepsut as Osiris, the god of the dead, lean against its pillars. Far from being devoted solely to her, the temple also includes sections for the cults of her revered father Thutmose I, the goddess Hathor, and the funerary god Anubis. An altar, open to the sky and the sun, was dedicated to the cult of the solar Ra-Horakhty. Pride of place was given to Amun. At the far end of the upper courtyard, on the temple’s central axis, a passage cut directly into the living rock culminates in his sanctuary.Colossi of Memnon
