We enjoyed ourselves very much - it was so interesting and the guide was excellent. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about Peranakan culture.
Eric and Eddie were wonderful hosts who took the time and trouble to give a good account of who Peranakans were and the lives they lead. The house itself was a strong supporting actor chock full of furniture, clothing and other memorabilia. Strongly recommended.
We had an incredible experience with Angeline as our guide. She was truly fantastic—knowledgeable, approachable, and always eager to share her expertise. Throughout the tour, she provided fascinating insights into Peranakan heritage and culture, making the history come alive in a way that was both engaging and informative. The Katong Antique House has many interesting artefacts on display. Each item told a unique story, and Angeline did an excellent job of explaining their significance. I highly recommend this experience for people interested in learning more about Peranakan culture. It's a great opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of this rich and vibrant heritage.
