Highlights
Over the last millennium the city became the most important reference for the catholic religion on this region. It served for headquarter of archbishops, and has (probably) the most beautiful cathedral in Portugal. Adding to the religiosity and countless set of churches and chapels, the city has 2 sanctuaries on hill next to it, 1 cathedral and many old monasteries and clergy palaces that are worth to detail.
This tour is oriented for the visit and knowledge of these wonderful architectural works, landmarks of the Catholic religion in the region.

1 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedOur journey beggins with a visit to Braga´s Sé Cathedral. The constructtion was ordered by Teresa de Leão (Portugal's fist king mother) back on the XI century. So we can say, it's the oldest, and no doubt one of the prettiest! We will make a guided visit on the Main church, Piedade chapel and external areas in the 1st vortex of the triangle of faith. As optional is possible the full guided visit to all chapels aggregate to the cathedral and the choir/museum.Bom Jesus Funicular
