Hong Kong to form exclusive KMB Rangers teams and use speed and intelligence

• Eligibility: Participants must be at least 12 years old. Participants aged 12-17 must obtain parental/guardian consent at the time of registration and submit a completed parental/guardian consent form (KMB will contact the participants later).

— How to claim your competition souvenir —

• Teams must collect their race souvenirs from one of the 39 KMB bus termini located at one of the SF Express self-service lockers on the event platform upon registration. The souvenirs will be shipped via cash on delivery. Teams must use the SF Express mobile application "SFHK APP" to track their shipment status, receive delivery notifications, and pay the relevant shipping fees.

• All souvenirs are distributed to teams; individual team members will not be allowed to collect them.

  
  

• Participants are responsible for shipping costs and expenses incurred in collecting competition souvenirs; the organizers will not be responsible for these costs.

  
  

• There will be no on-site collection or replacement of competition souvenirs on the day of the event.

  
  

— Registration Notes, Terms and Conditions —

• Participants must carefully read the event rules and arrangements. By submitting registration, all participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, complied with, and accepted all rules, terms and conditions, personal data collection statements and arrangements relating to the event as introduced herein and thereafter by the organizers, and accept that the organizers have the rights set forth in these rules, terms and conditions and personal data collection statements.

• To ensure smooth communication, we recommend that you avoid using your Yahoo email address for registration. The organizer will not be held responsible if participants fail to receive confirmation emails in a timely manner due to email provider filtering, thereby affecting the registration process or progress.

  
  

• Each participant (including adults and children) must provide a valid Octopus card number upon registration. During the event, a "one card per person" system will be implemented for KMB and Long Win buses, with fares refunded on a "pay first, refund later" basis. If participants use their registered Octopus card to ride eligible KMB or Long Win buses during the event period (August 23, 2026, 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM), the organizer will refund the full fare for the actual rides taken on the eligible buses during the specified event period to the participant's registered Octopus card within one month after the event ends. No fare refund will be given if participants use other methods of bus travel (such as unregistered Octopus cards, cash, other electronic payment methods, or shared cards).
  
  *Eligible routes for fare refunds refer to bus routes operated by KMB or Long Win Bus, excluding KMB bus routes HK1, HK2, K12, K14, K17, K18, P960 and P968. The list of excluded routes is subject to change, and the latest announcements from the organizer shall prevail.

  
  

• According to KMB Passenger Information, each adult passenger may bring up to two children under the age of four who do not occupy a seat for free.

  
  

• Registration will be open from 12:00 noon on June 1, 2026 to 11:59 am on June 19, 2026. All times are subject to the information received by the conference website server. Interested participants must complete the registration form and submit the application, fee, and required documents online during the registration period. • Participants under the age of 18 must obtain parental or guardian consent at the time of registration and throughout the event, and must submit a parent/guardian consent form properly completed and signed by their parent or guardian at the time of registration; participants aged 3-11 must participate with their parent or guardian on the day of the event; children under the age of 3 are not allowed to participate in the event.

— Luggage Storage —

• There will be no baggage storage service provided at the event.
• Participants are responsible for the proper management of their personal belongings, and the conference will not be liable for any loss or damage to any property.

- Insurance-

• The conference will purchase third-party liability insurance (excluding participants' legal liability), and participants may purchase their own personal or related insurance if needed.

— Personal Data Collection Statement —

• Participants voluntarily provide their personal information to the organizer. If the information you provide is insufficient, the organizer may not be able to process or accept your request, application, or participation.

• The personal information provided by participants will be used for the following purposes:

• The conference will make every reasonable effort to ensure that all personal data held by the conference is stored in a safe and secure place, accessible only to authorized staff or third-party service providers, and used only for the necessary purposes described above. Such data will be destroyed within 90 days after the conclusion of this event.

  
  

• Participants have the right to access the personal data held by the organizer and request corrections to such data. • The conference reserves the right to charge participants a reasonable fee for processing any requests for access to materials.

• The personal data provided by participants will be used solely for this event, and the organizers will handle the collected personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Chapter 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong.

  
  

— Event Cancellation Arrangements —

• If the Hong Kong Observatory issues Typhoon Signal No. 8 or a higher Typhoon Warning Signal, or a Black Rainstorm Warning Signal, after 6:00 a.m. on August 23, 2026, the event will be cancelled and postponed to August 30, 2026. If, on the rescheduled date of August 30, 2026, the Hong Kong Observatory issues Typhoon Signal No. 8 or a higher Typhoon Warning Signal, or a Black Rainstorm Warning Signal, after 6:00 a.m., the event will be cancelled, the competition will not be rescheduled, and all registration fees will not be refunded.
• If the weather deteriorates during the event, the organizers will decide whether the event needs to be suspended. The organizers reserve the right to amend and interpret the above rules. Any temporary changes or cancellations to the event will be announced on the KMB website. The race will not be re-organized and all registration fees will not be refunded.

— Appeals in the competition —

• The winners of each category will be announced on-site on the day of the competition. If any participant has any objection to the results, the appeal must be filed within 15 minutes after the results are announced.
• The General Assembly reserves the right to make the final decision on whether to accept the appeal.

— Other Terms and Conditions —

• By attending this event, participants agree to the organizer's or its authorized representatives taking photos/videos on site, and agree that the organizer has the right to own and retain and/or use such photos or videos for promotional purposes.

  
  

• Participants must comply with the arrangements and instructions of the organizers and staff in order to maintain order and safety during the event.

  
  

• Participants must abide by the KMB Curb Depot's visitor and management rules while engaging in activities within the depot, including but not limited to the strict prohibition of smoking. Upon completion of the event, participants must follow the instructions of the event staff and leave the KMB Curb Depot safely and orderly. The organizer reserves the right to pursue legal action against any participant who violates this clause, and the participant will be liable for any losses incurred by the organizer due to their violation.

  
  

• The organizer has the right to refuse or disqualify any participant whom the organizer deems likely to engage in any dangerous or illegal conduct, and has the right to request such person to leave the event venue.

  
  

• Participation in this activity is voluntary. Participants assume all risks and responsibilities and have no right to claim compensation or hold the organizer liable for any injury, accident, death, or loss of any kind caused to or from the event venue, during the event, or for any other reason.

  
  

• If a participant causes additional expenses to the organizers due to intentional damage during the event, the participant must compensate the organizers.

  
  

• The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant from participating in the event, disqualifying them from receiving any results, souvenirs, or awards for any of the following reasons without prior notice. Registration fees for disqualified participants will not be refunded.
  
  *There is reason to believe that any participant in their group has violated, breached, or failed to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or the terms and conditions of the activity; or
  
  There is reason to believe that some participants in the group have registered
  or conducted the activity dishonestly or fraudulently.

  
  

• Under no circumstances are all prizes transferable, exchangeable, refundable, redeemable for cash, services, or other benefits. The organizer reserves the right to change the souvenirs and prizes without prior notice.

  
  

• The organizer shall not be held legally liable for any delays, losses, errors, illegibility, or damages to any participant's registration information, event information, or notices sent or dispatched by the organizer due to computer, network, telephone, technical, or other reasons not attributable to the organizer, which may render the information invalid. The organizer shall have the final say on such matters.

  
  

• The organizer shall not be liable for any loss, error, unidentifiable or damaged data, computers, networks, telephones, or other technical issues caused by participants downloading and installing third-party applications, or any other circumstances not attributable to the organizer.

  
  

• Under no circumstances shall the organizers be liable for any losses incurred by participants who are unable to receive souvenirs or prizes due to problems with the "APP1933" system or other technical issues.

  
  

• The organizer shall not be liable for any loss or damage to property or personal injury (including, but not limited to, indirect or indirect losses) arising from participation in the event or from the acquisition or use of prizes or souvenirs. The organizer will not provide any compensation or legal liability for any loss or damage to property, claims, liabilities, personal injury, death, medical conditions, expenses and costs, recovery costs, or legal proceedings incurred by participants or any other person as a result of the event.
