Itinerary
Corso Italia
Starting on Corso Italia in central Pisa, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, and follow the riddles through a city with far more depth than most visitors discover. No guide, no fixed start time. Your first landmark is the Duomo, the magnificent Romanesque cathedral at the centre of the Campo dei Miracoli. The riddles will show you details you almost certainly missed — from the ancient bronze doors to the medieval mosaics above the apse. The route then takes a detour to the Bagni di Nerone, the remains of a Roman thermae complex dating back roughly two millennia. Largely overlooked by tourists, they're a reminder that Pisa's history begins long before the tower started tilting. The hunt wraps up with a trail following Galileo Galilei, Pisa's most famous son. The city comes alive as the birthplace of the scientific method — and the clues put you in his footsteps. The tour takes around 2 hours at a leisurely pace. Pisa has always had more to offer than one tilted building — this hunt makes that impossible to miss.
