At first, I was a bit hesitant because of the one-star review. But as someone who occasionally takes risks while traveling, I figured—what do I have to lose by giving it a try? I'm glad I did. The driver met me at the arrival hall holding a sign with my name on it. The ride was quick, although we did have a minor accident when the car behind us bumped into us. The driver spoke briefly with the other party twice, then we were on our way again in less than two minutes. As a traveler arriving early in the morning and already feeling tired, I really appreciated how efficiently everything was handled so I could get to my hotel and rest. I was the only passenger in the car, and I’ll definitely book this service again in the future.
I was very disappointed with the failure of the service provider. Upon my arrival at Wattay International Airport, I made an exit and noticed no sign with my name. I walked around to look for a driver holding a sign "Laos Group Tour" with my name. It was already 30 minutes of waiting so I called Pelago. I asked why I was not picked-up though I already booked. I struggled very hard with AI assistant regarding the booking confirmation. I approached the taxi counter and paid USD7 for the taxi fare. A taxi driver sent me to my destination and I arrived in low spirits at my hotel. I threw the invoice/taxi receipt so I wasn't able to provide a screenshot of it for proof or your reference.
