Highlights
Lynxtrip introduces you to the Moroccan desert during this three-day excursion from Marrakech to the small town of Merzouga.
You will leave by crossing the Atlas and visiting the UNESCO world heritage site, the Ait Ben Haddou kasbah.
We will spend one night in a traditional Berber camp in the middle of the sand dunes.

After a short introduction with your driver, you will be taken to your first site. Cross the High Atlas Mountains to the Col de Tizi N Tichka (2250 m above sea level). Continue to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where you will marvel at the unique-looking desert villages. Visit the magnificent Ksar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before continuing to Ouarzazate. In Ouarzazate, you will have the opportunity to stroll through Taourirt. Start your day with a short getaway to the dunes of Merzouga and admire an exceptional natural site and enjoy a car ride in the palm grove area, dotted with thousands of palm trees. Visit the Todra Gorge and admire the breathtaking panoramic views of the rugged gorges sweeping across the desert landscape. Once you have finished walking among the gorges, pass through Tinejdad and Erfoud to Rissani where you will have lunch. After lunch, we will take you to visit the tomb of the King of Alaoui, belonging to the current royal family. Next, visit Merzouga, where an exciting camel ride on the dunes of Erg Chebbi awaits you.
