Join us for a unique hands-on cultural activity where creativity meets tradition. Guests begin by selecting a T-shirt in either black or white, available in sizes ranging from Women’s M and L to Men’s XXXL. Next, choose a kanji character from our curated menu along with your favorite ink color from our wide selection. Using a soft chalk pencil, you’ll sketch the chosen kanji onto your T-shirt. Upon request, a sample of your selected kanji can be drawn in front of you by our instructor for guidance—and you’re welcome to take the sample home. Once you’re satisfied with your sketch, and after a few personalized tips from your instructor, you’ll proceed to paint the kanji using the ink color you selected. To finish, you’ll gently remove any excess ink using absorbent sheets. Then, you may either wear your custom T-shirt or take it home neatly folded in a plastic bag. We also offer this activity on traditional lanterns, following the same procedure. Whether on fabric or paper, you’ll walk away with a handcrafted souvenir made by you—an artistic memory from your time in Japan. Each session lasts approximately one hour, just your imagination and a sense of fun, which just what it is !
