Must Know
The general admission shows and programs are recommended for ages 8+
Shows at the Planetarium Star Theatre are only available for daytime admission
Starting August 1, there will be no evening admission hours to access the Observatory
Pre Purchase
Children under 5 must be accompanied by a paying adult
Free general admission to all self-identifying Indigenous Peoples (offer onsite only)
Usage
Show your smartphone voucher at the front desk upon arrival
For daytime admission, you will be accommodated at the next available planetarium show time. Please plan to arrive early to check in. Planetarium shows last approximately 45 minutes and are subject to change
For evening admission, the tour of the Gordon Southam Observatory is on first come, first served basis and weather permitting
The H.R. MacMillan Space Centre is easily accessible by public transit. If you plan to drive, paid parking is available in front of the Space Centre building (Lot 60)
