The staff are friendly and welcoming. I opted for the foot treatment, which was carried out by two different masseuses. One took care of the nail trimming, while the other handled the dead skin removal and foot massage. Both appeared quite young but were professional, attentive, and serious about their work. The treatment came with tea before and after the session, along with two biscuits, which was a nice touch. Highly recommended! Do make a reservation in advance, as the lobby is usually quite busy, and I noticed the staff having to redirect or turn away some walk-in customers due to limited availability.

I came here for the 90-minute hot stone massage and overall had a very relaxing experience. The massage therapist was very experienced and did an excellent job working on my tense shoulders. The pressure was just right—not too hard, not too gentle—and my shoulder tension was completely relieved. I felt totally relaxed after the massage. There are, however, some areas where the service could be improved. After the massage, the staff left the room without much explanation. It would have been better if they had clearly guided us on what to do next, such as getting changed and moving to the first floor. The foot bath was also quite basic, with just some warm water and what I assume was salt. The water was rather shallow as well. I also found the choice of aroma oil a little pointless because I couldn’t really smell any fragrance during the massage. It felt like they might have used a standard massage oil instead. Despite these points, I’m still giving them 5 stars. The spa has a very pleasant and relaxing environment, the reception staff speak good English, and most importantly, the massage itself was excellent. With the Pelago offer, the value for money was fantastic—probably one of the best spa deals I’ve had in Hanoi!

My husband tried the deep tissue massage at Orient Flora Spa. Unfortunately, the experience was quite different from my visit for the hot stone massage. The massage therapist he was assigned to seemed very new and inexperienced. The pressure was far too light for a deep tissue massage, and there simply wasn’t enough strength to work on the muscles properly. Communication was also a challenge as the therapist couldn’t speak English and didn’t give clear instructions throughout the session. Luckily, we came as a couple, and I had an experienced therapist. He was able to follow the instructions from my side of the room, which made things a little easier. It’s a pity because my hot stone massage here was excellent, with a very experienced therapist who really knew how to work on my tense shoulders. As for my husband, the therapist’s lack of experience and communication made a noticeable difference. Hopefully, the spa can provide more training and clearer guidance for newer therapists, especially when it comes to deep tissue massage.
