Highlights
During this tour we will hike in volcanoes of Armenia, including Geghama mountains and two summits of Mount Aragats. Far from civilization and at the same time the place where the first origins of civilization were born. The latter are evidenced by petroglyphs and dragon-stones of the Geghama mountains .The tour includes cooking service in the mountains.

It is an extinct volcano and the slopes of the mountain have interesting red hue, that is why sometimes we call it Armenian “Mars”. We start hiking from Lake Akna. On the top there is a crater Lake, which changes its colors in every minute. On the summit the marvelous view of Lake Sevan, Mts Hatis, Ara and Aragats on one line is opened in front of tourists. On the way back we can meet petroglyphs, which date back to 3-5 millenniums BC. Afterwards we put tents at the foot of the mountain, where we have an overnight.
