Highlights

Later, proceed to Loita Forest for 4 days and 3 nights of walking through untapped natural forest, with local Maasai guides, porters and donkeys to help carry the luggage. Explore the natural beauty of the forest, full of birds and other wildlife. Camp at scenic areas along rivers and escarpments before emerging at the Nguruman area of Lake Magadi, overlooking Lake Natron and Shompole Conservancy.

8 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeWe will pick you up from your Nairobi accommodation/airport in the morning and drive to Masai Mara through the great African Rift Valley escarpment through the Masai town, Narok. We will arrive in time for lunch. Check in at the camp and have lunch. Go on an afternoon game drive through the park in search of lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo and other members of the Big Five, plus other animals. Return to Talek Riverside Camp for your overnight stay. The safari guide and driver will do most of the chores at the camp; clients can take part in setting up their tent or cooking if they have a special way they wish their food to be prepared. We will start trekking at noon until 4 pm, passing through homesteads and grasslands across valleys to our first camping spot near a large man-made watering hole.
