Led by an experienced steersman, you will paddle up an attractive branch of the river to a minor island of the Danube to take a rest in a wonderful landscape setting. During the trip, you will hear about and see some of the wildlife of the riverside, the history and unique architecture of the floodplain and, depending on the water level, explore a deserted island or a hidden branch of the river. The easy part is returning, as it’s downstream and you can go with the flow! Starting with a brief instruction on safety and the basics of canoeing, the trip is suitable also for beginners.
