Built in the 12th century, this castle is considered one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. Also known as "Vila das Rainhas", it was common, in the 13th century, for this villa to be offered by Portuguese monarchs to their wives, as a wedding gift. You will also have the opportunity to taste the famous "Ginjinha de Óbidos", a cherry liqueur traditionally served in chocolate cups.
