The village is rich in peach and apple orchards and rhododendron trees. We will have traditional chai when we get here and then we will trek about 2.5km to the top. We will spend a night there at the campsite, where local family will prepare fresh, garhwali dinner for us. Forest Walk

Tunghnath Temple

5 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedWe will wake up at around 4am and have a chai. Then we will walk up to top of the Chandrashilla Peak to watch the sunrise. If the visibility is good, we will be able to see India's second highest peak - Nanda Devi and have paramount view of the Indian Himalayas. After we will walk down to the Tungnath Temple, which is the highest situated Shiva Temple in the world. We will have a breakfast there and walk back to Chopta. There will be some free time and in the evening we will go for a walk where we will be able to see Himalayan Birds and Mountain Goats.
