You start your tour with a pick-up by your qualified tour guide from your hotel reception area. You'll then travel in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle to start your trip from Cape Town up the awesome Sir Lowry's Pass, through the Elgin Valley and down the Houwhoek Pass to Hermanus. Arriving at Hermanus Harbour, you'll proceed to your boat for the whale sighting portion. Please note, the fee for the boat trip is payable on arrival.

Spend 2-3 hours on a luxury boat with a whale specialist on board. The Southern Right Whales only appear between July and December, but the boat trip does offer the possibility of sightings (NO guarantees) of hump back whales, Brydes whales, sharks, Cape fur seals, dolphins, penguins and other sea life all year round. Light refreshments on the boat are included, and you'll also stop for lunch in Hermanus.

You'll drive home along the stunning Gordon's Bay sea route passing through Kleinmond, Betty's Bay, and Rooi Els. Before the tour ends, you'll also be able to visit the penguin colony at Stoney Point. You'll be dropped off at your hotel at the end of this tour.
