Are you looking for a fun way to enjoy the water? Mermaiding is not only great
fun but also excellent for fitness and building water confidence. The SSI Try
Mermaid program offers you an exciting introduction to the world of mermaids
and mermen, including swimming with a mermaid monofin.

This entry-level program takes place in a safe, confined water setting,
allowing you to experience the underwater world while learning key skills.
You’ll practice water entry techniques, learn how to move comfortably and
safely with your mermaid monofin, and develop proper breathing for underwater
swimming.

With safety as the top priority, your certified Mermaid Instructor will
accompany you in the water at every step. After completing this experience,
you can progress toward your Mermaid Certification, join fun club sessions,
and take one step closer to becoming a real mermaid or merman. Upon
completion, you will also receive the SSI Try Mermaid recognition eCard.
