Piazza Venezia is a famous square in Rome. It is located at the foot of the Capitol, where five of the most important streets of the capital intersect: via dei Fori Imperiali, via del Corso, via C. Battisti-via Nazionale, via del Plebiscito-corso Vittorio and via of the Theater of Marcellus.

The Via dei Fori Imperiali, formerly Via dell'Impero, is a modern street in Rome, which takes its current name from the remains of the ancient Imperial Forums, and connects the Colosseum to Piazza Venezia.

Via del Corso is a famous historic street in the center of Rome that connects Piazza Venezia to Piazza del Popolo and measures approximately 1.6 kilometers. It is the central artery of the road complex known as Tridente.

Via Nazionale is a street in Rome that leads from piazza della Repubblica to piazza Venezia, stopping at largo Magnanapoli. On his way he crosses the districts of Castro Pretorio and Monti.

The Trevi Fountain is the largest and one of the most famous fountains in Rome. It was built on the facade of Palazzo Poli (more properly called Palazzo Conti di Poli), by Nicola Salvi. The competition held by Pope Clement XII in 1731 had been won by the French sculptor Lambert-Sigisbert Adam, but later the task passed to Salvi (it is said that the pope did not want to entrust the work to a foreigner, but another version explains that Adam was to return to France [2] [3]) which began in 1732. It was completed in 1762 by Giuseppe Pannini and stylistically belongs to the late Baroque. The fountain was built with travertine, marble, plaster, stucco and metals.

Piazza di Spagna (Piazza di Francia in the seventeenth century), with the stairway of Trinità dei Monti, is one of the most famous squares in Rome. It owes its name to the palace of Spain, seat of the embassy of the Iberian state to the Holy See.

The Pincio (or Colle Pinciano, from the Latin mons Pincius) is a hill of Rome, 61 m high s.l.m., which is located north of the Quirinale and overlooks the Campo Marzio, with several villas and gardens occupying the hill.
